In March 2025, Silent Dove and Asher + Archer were proud to present Something Blue, an exclusive event and part of Melbourne Fashion Festival Independent Programme. This collaboration celebrated the artistry of heirlooms and the enduring symbolism of family traditions, blending couture fashion and jewellery into an unforgettable experience.
Held at the Good Shepherd Chapel Gallery at Abbotsford Convent, Something Blue showcased the synergy between Silent Dove’s heirloom-inspired jewellery and Asher & Archer’s refined, custom-made designs. Drawing inspiration from the tradition of “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue,” the event honoured the romance, heritage, and history woven into every piece.
The event began with an intimate runway show featuring Silent Dove’s heirloom-inspired designs—crafted from premium materials such as lapis lazuli and freshwater pearls—alongside Asher & Archer’s bespoke creations. Following the show, attendees were invited to explore the collection up close at an exhibition that highlighted the craftsmanship, storytelling, and sustainable values that define both brands.
Something Blue was a celebration of heritage, artistry, and symbolism, offering a thoughtful nod to weddings, heirlooms, and the stories that make each piece unique.
As part of Melbourne Fashion Festival 2025, Silent Dove and Asher & Archer invited workshop participants to celebrate creativity and craftsmanship with a hands-on workshops exploring jewellery design, fashion embellishment, and veil making.
In the embellishment workshop, designer Anneliese from Asher + Archer guided participants through techniques to adorn garments or accessories, such as a personalized embellished veil—perfect for weddings or special occasions.
In the jewellery design workshop, Sarah from Silent Dove taught participants to work with premium materials like pearls and natural stones, crafting elegant, bespoke pieces that reflect your unique style.
As part of Melbourne Fashion Week 2024, Fernanda Covarrubias and Silent Dove collaborated in an interactive installation at Spring Place, 50 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne.
The Paradiso installation brought beauty together with sustainability and craftspersonship with bespoke fashion, as Fernanda’s designs harmonised with Silent Dove’s creations. The installation celebrated utopian themes, vibrant hues, and powerful, feminine energy.
In March 2024, Silent Dove and Melbourne artist Lionia proudly presented Celestial, a fusion of art, fashion and couture jewellery design in celebration of divine femininity as part of the PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival’s Independent Program.
Silent Dove, Lionia and couture fashion designer Fernanda Covarrubias partnered together in an ethereal array of colour and complex themes interwoven through a series of large-scale artworks, couture fashion and iconic jewellery designs. The three creators envisaged a potent view of female identity in which the powerful and feminine align.
With special guest fashion expert Todd Anthony and deejay Filip with an F, guests celebrated the fusion of powerful femininity at Lionia's Chapel Street gallery in South Yarra.
The week also included a workshop with participants creating their own fabulous designs constructed from natural stones whilst sipping bubbly.

In March 2023, Silent Dove partnered with Good Shepherd Australia for the Silent Dove Apocalypse exhibition at the Good Shepherd Chapel Gallery, Abbotsford Convent. This exhibition featured exquisite hand-crafted jewellery made from heirloom fabric and was proudly a part of the PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival Fashion Culture Program. The Silent Dove Apocalypse exhibition aimed to support women and children escaping domestic violence, with all proceeds being donated to Good Shepherd to bolster their family violence services: Family Violence Services - Victoria – Good Shepherd. This initiative highlights the intersection of luxury fashion and social responsibility.
